Incredibly atmospheric restaurant with attentive and very friendly service. The food was also excellent. Both the tapas - we had spinach with chickpeas and the pimientos - and the paella were super delicious and the cheese selection was impressive. We enjoyed the evening very much and would come back anytime. Absolute highlight!

The incredible options of tapas is amazing. The choices of cheese and great alcohol is equally amazing. The service was top notch. It’s small but worth the wait. Reasonable priced paella is even better.

Wonderful place! We were in Seville for a couple weeks and this ended up becoming our regular lunch place. The staff is very friendly and the food is wonderful (especially the spinach and chickpeas)

Happened to be our first meal upon arrival in Sevilla. While first meals tend to be easily forgotten because they're buried under a succession of meal memories, this one ended up being one of our more memorable ones. That's saying a lot considering the rich and varied tradition of Spanish cuisine.
Even though the menu wasn't mind boggling in terms of range, it still required careful consideration because everything sounded great. By the way, loved the Spanish literary twist to some of the tapas names (Cervantes, Lope de Vega et al)!
We ordered the Chicharron de Cadiz, spinach with chickpeas, artichokes and the "Luis Gongora", an unusual name for a simple dish of fresh tomato and tuna belly (Gongora was well known for his Baroque like intricacy and hyperbole).
The chicharron variation was not the usual crispy pork belly that I've had before, but a slow cooked version lightly doused in olive oil with a sprinkling of sea salt. Tasty nonetheless. Our absolute favorite was the spinach and chickpeas! In fact we liked it so much that this dish ended up featuring in many of our Spanish meals thereafter. However this one set the bar high by not being over seasoned or salty.

We really loved our dinner experience here. Our server listened to our questions and offered excellent suggestions to meet our needs. The paella was excellent, the pitcher of Sangria was divine. Highly recommend this small intimate tapas restaurant to everyone e!

We had seen a good review of this restaurant so made a specific trip to eat there on our last night in Seville. The waiter was lovely and the place very welcoming. We had a glass of delicious local house white wine and ordered paella to share.
While we were waiting we were brought warm bread. The paella arrived and was so delicious and we opted to share a cheesecake for dessert which was equally fantastic.
Our Spanish is not great - we tried - but the waiter had fantastic English and the service was excellent. A fantastic last night for us. Thank you!- Precio por persona

Me and my husband wanted to eat a nice paella and we found El Libreto Abaceria which was perfect! We ordered a nice sangria, fresh orange juice, a spinach/cheakpeas tapa and seafood paella. Everything was very good! Just be aware that this place is small so you might have to wait or try to go early.

Everything we ordered tastes so good. My favorite is the octopus salad. We also ordered pork cheek which my son loved. Cheese cake is devine!

Wonderful customer service. Paella was delicious and we ordered a cheese tray letting the waiter pick the cheeses. He did an amazing job, explaining why he chose what he chose and everything was delicious. Highly recommend this spot!
